A few weekends ago, something powerful happened at the Christian Care Center Men’s Retreat—God moved in a way that changed lives.

Tomorrow, many families may struggle to put a hot meal on the table.

Six years ago, in July 2019, I surrendered my life to the Lord while in the Men’s Residence program at the Christian Care Center. Just a month later, I was baptized at the church’s outdoor baptism service—a moment that marked the beginning of a new life in Christ.

When a man calls us looking for help, he’s often at the lowest place of his life. Many are homeless. Some have lost their marriages. Others haven’t spoken to their children in years. Most feel like they’ve lost everything because of addiction. They come in carrying the crushing weight of shame, depression, and regret. The enemy truly has stolen, killed, and destroyed so much in their lives. But then—they meet Jesus.

For over 24 years Jay Walsh has poured into lives here at the Christian Care Center’s Men’s Residence.

Every day here at the Christian Care Center, the staff and volunteers work tirelessly to be a blessing to those we serve. And every year, the blessing is returned!
