The Blessing

Every day here at the Christian Care Center, the staff and volunteers work tirelessly to be a blessing to those we serve. And every year, the blessing is returned! So often we receive support from someone who has also received support themselves. Whether it be a former graduate from the Men's or Women's Center who returns to pour into others or a graduate from Samaritan Inn who spends time with the current residents- in each case, it builds hope for the future. Without asking others to pay it forward, oftentimes, they just do.

Recently, we were contacted by a woman who wishes to stay anonymous. She had received the generous blessing of a car. In truth, there was very little wrong with her current car, so she decided to bless someone here at the Christian Care Center with it. Instead of receiving praise from her generosity, she decided to donate it in the name of those that made it possible by their act of kindness to her.
The truth is, as Christians our acts of love, grace, and mercy should all be done in like manner by giving glory to the name who has made everything we do here possible: The name of Jesus.
If our Lord and Savior has put it on your heart to pour into one of our ministries, please contact Jay Walsh at jay@christiancarecenter.org
