We had a very special time our Thanksgiving dinner here at the Christian Care Center last week! Here is a picture from that event and, as you can see, some of our men’s residents, volunteers and homeless dinner guests are featured. What made this Thanksgiving dinner very special was all the hard work from our volunteers – cooking, cleaning and serving! We send out a big thank you to all who served! Also, one of our homeless guests sang a beautiful hymn called “For Those Tears I Died”, and another homeless guest prayed for our Thanksgiving meal. With tears in his eyes, he thanked God for the Christian Care Center family. He said, “I have no other family,” and that we are his only family. It was truly a special time.
