Tomorrow, many families may struggle to put a hot meal on the table.

Over two decades ago, while serving as a minister of the staff at a church in Georgia, I first encountered the Christian Care Center. At the time, our church was exploring the idea of launching a food pantry ministry, and we were seeking wisdom and guidance.

My name is Shannon, and I’d like to share my story.

Our ladies at the Women’s Care Center love the opportunity to serve, and also to meet and greet others at church.

This past holiday season, the Lake County Firefighters Charity donated toys for the children of our community in need.

Christmas has come early to some here in Lake County! The Benevolence Center is partnering with “SALT” to reach the needy in our community.

First Academy collected 1200 pounds of canned food for our Benevolence Center.
