Then Samuel took a stone and set it up between Mizpah and Shen. He named it Ebenezer, saying, “Thus far the Lord has helped us.” (1 Samuel 7:12)
Taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the one who takes refuge in him. (Psalm 34:8)
A group of honor students from First Academy came to spend a Saturday afternoon with the Samaritan Inn families.
They did a craft project and brought all the fixings for ice cream sundaes. Through that time together, we all learned about the sweetness of God's word and the sweetness of God's provision for us.
Everyone got to participate in designing their own Ebenezer rock as a remembrance stone by painting a reminder of God's love, faithfulness and help. Ice cream sundaes was a great way to be reminded to " taste and see that the Lord is good"

We are grateful for all those that volunteer at the Samaritan Inn. If you are interested in volunteering, please contact us at 352-464-6382.
