The rooms at the Samaritan Inn have recently been transformed through a meaningful renovation, featuring new flooring, fresh paint, and updated bathrooms that create a more welcoming space for families in need. This project began with a generous donation from Jim’s Ride—an organization founded by the widow of a local pastor who tragically lost his life in a hit-and-run while cycling—which contributed funds raised through its annual bikathon. Additional generous donors helped expand the vision, and a team from Habitat for Humanity stepped in to provide the labor, turning a collective outpouring of support into tangible change for the families who call the Inn home.

But the true impact goes far beyond the walls. The Samaritan Inn is dedicated to helping families rebuild their lives through faith, practical life skills, and long-term stability. In 2025 alone, dozens of individuals found support, meals, and a pathway forward—some becoming debt-free, reuniting with their children, and even pursuing college or careers. Stories of transformation continue to unfold, reminding us that when a community comes together, real change happens—not just in homes, but in hearts.
