Down-home Cookin’

There’s always something cookin’ at Samaritan Inn. Days off from school are a great time for our Samaritan Inn children to “learn” right at home. Our cook, Becky, aka “Granny” taught Tobey and Ke’Lan how to make homemade ice cream. The boys enjoyed preparing the ingredients, churning the sweet mixture in the ice cream machine, and sampling the tasty frozen treat before it got served as dessert during that night’s meal. We are grateful for Becky, her love for our families, and for her delicious down-home cookin’!
