In April, the Christian Care Center hosted its annual Volunteer and Partner Appreciation Lunch, bringing together dedicated volunteers from all eight of its ministries for a meaningful time of connection and celebration.
This year’s theme, “Creating an Enduring Legacy,” set the tone for the event. It was a special opportunity to reflect on the rich history of the CCC while also looking ahead with anticipation toward the continued growth and impact of its ministries. The lunch honored not only where the organization has been, but also the lives currently being served and the vision for the future.
As a small token of appreciation, each volunteer received a new CCC t-shirt- just one way to say thank you for the countless hours, compassion, and commitment they give so generously.
A highlight of the event was hearing from leadership of Together at Home. Justin and Mona shared exciting updates about the newly reopened children’s home, offering insight into the renewed mission and the lives that will be impacted through this important ministry.
The afternoon served as a powerful reminder that the work of the Christian Care Center is made possible through faithful partnerships and servant-hearted volunteers. Together, they are not just meeting needs for today- they are building a legacy that will last for generations to come.
