A Story of Redemption and New Life

"Michelle" came into the pregnancy center back in January, grappling with the reality of an unexpected pregnancy. She had an 8-year-old son and had recently separated from her husband, making the news of her pregnancy even more shocking. Initially, she was determined to have an abortion and was upset upon discovering that our center was not an abortion clinic, as she had assumed.

Although she was vocal about not wanting to hear anything about "God stuff," Michelle listened to the counsel from our director, Hailey. Hailey gently shared that while this pregnancy might not have been part of Michelle’s plan, it could be a meaningful part of her son’s story—especially since he had recently been asking why he didn’t have a sibling.

We rejoiced when Michelle went to her ultrasound appointment and chose LIFE for her baby. Over the past eight months, she and her son have started attending church together and are preparing for the arrival of their new family member. Michelle has even reconciled with her ex-husband, and they have begun couples counseling.

Recently, Michelle and her son visited the center to pick up a new infant car seat in preparation for the baby’s arrival. Although she is currently on bedrest for the final weeks of her pregnancy, she continues to complete her accountability classes and participate in phone reviews.

It is a blessing to be part of this family’s journey. We are praying for both mother and baby to be healthy and for a smooth transition to a family of four. We also pray for Michelle and her son to continue growing in their faith and for her ex-husband to come to know the Lord. Praise God for a life saved here on Earth—and potentially lives saved for eternity!
