Occasionally, you are surprised with a general act of kindness. Sometimes this comes in the form of an unexpected donation, prayer, or just somebody being thoughtful. Over the four years I’ve been here at the Samaritan Inn, I generally have seen this is adults. It is rare that we have a child who thinks outside of himself to help those who are less fortunate than him. However, we were blessed to have the opportunity to meet William a few weeks back as he dropped in to make a donation to our families at Samaritan Inn. He brought things such as toiletries, hygiene products and toys! It was such a great feeling to see the joy on William’s face when he handed us the donated items.
It is a blessing for us to know that we have so many different people that pour into our ministry; actually, it’s also overwhelming to say the least, especially when it comes in an unexpected fashion.
