'Tis the Season for the Women's Care Center

Recently the ladies at the Women’s Care Center were able to kick off this special holiday season and take part in serving and enjoying the Legacy of Lottie event that was held at the Village Park campus. The ladies were able to help with some behind the scenes efforts and preparation for the event. Whether helping in the kitchen or assisting some of the table hostesses, each of the ladies found their own special way to serve and did so with a smile on their face and joy in their heart!

Saturday morning, the ladies were all able to sit down and enjoy the event, complete with amazing worship and fellowship and followed with a powerful message from the speaker. This year the speaker reminded us that God can use us even in our weaknesses and struggles – and being the perfect engineer, He also uses our hardships for our good and His glory. We got an up close look at real missionary life and the struggles and realized that we are all the same. God can use us all!

Hearts were softened and eyes were opened! Yes, we got to know who Lottie Moon was and why this is the biggest Women’s Ministry event of the season (also the prettiest, thanks to Paige Davis, her team and the creative table hostesses) and we were able to have a wonderful time doing so!

The ladies were also able to serve at First Baptist Leesburg Sunday morning by greeting and passing out the Christian Care Center Christmas catalogs and flyers regarding the ’22 Christmas Stroll. The ladies enjoyed the opportunity to be able to meet and greet and are excited to be a part of the Christmas Stroll. This truly is the most exciting time of the year!
