We are honored to share that Benevolence has been recognized by Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida as the 2026 Grocery Alliance Agency of the Year! This prestigious award recognizes agencies that excel in the Grocery Alliance program, which gathers surplus food from local grocery stores and distributes it to families in need across our community.
Second Harvest serves seven Central Florida counties, making this recognition especially meaningful. We're also proud to have received this award previously in 2019.
Thanks to the dedication of our volunteers, staff, and community partners, the Benevolence Center provided more than 1.1 million meals to over 12,000 families in 2025. Through partnerships with Publix, Walmart, and Sam's Club, we are able to collect quality food that might otherwise go to waste and place it into the hands of those who need it most.
Thank you to Second Harvest, our grocery partners, volunteers, and everyone who helps make this ministry possible. Together, we're making a lasting difference one meal at a time.
