Last weekend some of our boys from the Samaritan Inn got to enjoy an amazing fishing trip with one of our volunteers, Mr. Peter Dora! Peter is heavily involved with not only the Samaritan Inn but also the Children’s Shelter, and he picked up several of our boys on a Saturday morning and took them out on Lake Dora. In addition to an awesome day of fishing, the boys got to enjoy a cookout as well! Mr. Dora shared some amazing stories about his own childhood with them along with plenty of wisdom.
We are so thankful as a ministry to have volunteers that spend quality time with our children. What a beautiful opportunity to meet needs and share Christ with these young men.
