I came to the Women’s Care Center to get out of jail in Lynchburg, VA. I had no intention or even desire to actually change, even though my drug addiction had cost me everything and had rendered me homeless and helpless. After being at the Women’s Care Center for a few short weeks, I could not deny the love of God being poured out onto me by my sisters here in the Women’s Care Center, the volunteers and staff any longer, and I made the greatest decision of my life – to accept Jesus Christ as the Lord of my life! I came here simply to be freed from a jail cell, but God ended up breaking the real chains that have been holding me back my entire life!
