Today is Down Syndrome Day, and we at the Christian Care Center want to honor a very special couple and their precious little boy! Jamie Scher is the Director of our Children’s Shelter, and he and his wife, Gina, have a son, Jamison, who was born two years ago this weekend! We love this family and the many ways that Jesus shines through all of them! The Daily Commercial wrote an incredible article about them, which can be seen in the picture below.
Jamie, Gina and Jamison, we are so thankful for you and today we celebrate the beautiful life that the Lord put into this world when Jamison was born! Psalm 139:13-16 says, “For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place, when I was woven together in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be.” We love you, Jamison!
