The Women’s Care Center is so grateful for the sweet fellowship of women in our life and how they come alongside us to love and encourage. Recently, our sweet friend, Linda Williams, brought Ms. Dolly to meet us and gift our ladies with beautiful, handmade afghans.

It was a pleasure to meet Ms. Dolly, and it was certainly a blessing to receive such treasures. Each and every afghan was a representation of hours of love and prayer. Not only are the afghans cozy and comfy, but it is also something that our ladies can keep and treasure for years.

Isn’t that just like God? Engineering circumstances so that Ms. Dolly’s talents and treasures may be gifted to us at the Women’s Care Center, for such a time as this. Afghans that offer warmth and comfort are meeting the needs of our ladies – the one with insomnia, the one missing her children, the one that is still coming to terms with her strongholds, the one that cannot seem to get the words out or remember what happened yesterday. And even the one that is just learning what it means to trust God.
That’s how good God is. Taking care of the details – making sure we are cozy and warm. If you would like to know more about the Women’s Care Center or possibly how you could partner with us, either prayerfully, financially or maybe with a talent to share, contact our Director, Sherry Stewart at (352) 787-8929 for more information. We would love to share a little bit about what is happening at the Women’s Care Center!
