God always supplies exactly what we need, exactly when we need it. With this in mind, the Samaritan Inn would like to take a few moments to recognize one of our special volunteers.
Meet Fred Cory; he and his wife, Elizabeth, moved to Florida from Michigan in October of 2017. They are currently members of the Village Park Campus of FBC Leesburg, and Fred has been volunteering with us for the past several months. Though he expects no recognition for his service, we wanted him to know how much we appreciate his efforts within our ministry. Fred has saved us hundreds of dollars within the past several months by coming in and fixing our washer and dryers that are utilized by our residents daily.
Oftentimes we had considered throwing them away and purchasing new ones, only to find out that Fred had the skill set to fix them for minimal to no cost. These are the things that help a ministry run effectively and save within our budget to go towards other needs. It is so encouraging to see how the Lord really does supply each of our needs, even the ones we might overlook.
Fred, we just want to let you know that we love you dearly and cannot thank you enough for your time and efforts week in and week out!! The Lord is using you greatly at the Samaritan Inn. Thanks for living out 1 Peter 4:10, which says, “Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms”.
