The holidays are always busy for everyone, and there was no exception at the Women’s Care Center. The ladies’ social calendar picked up from Thanksgiving on! December started with our annual Volunteer Christmas Dinner, followed by our annual Christmas Stroll, and then with several Christmas parties. The ladies were once again spoiled by our loving volunteers! Lunches, dinners, tea & snacks, homemade candy, cookies, and plenty of gifts under the tree! The ladies were all blessed beyond measure and surely apricate everyone’s love and kindness!
A lot of wonderful memories were made, and it was a joyous time for all; however, each lady agrees that the best gift is their relationship with Jesus Christ and the restoration of relationships with family. We definitely witnessed a few miracles here at the Women’s Care Center!
The excitement of New Year’s Eve filled everyone with an attitude of gratitude. They are all clean and sober and ready to walk into 2022 as the women that God created them to be. A favorite tradition for January is looking at what God did for us in the previous year and what we want Him to do for us this year. Also, what will we do for God this year?
It is an exciting time at the Women’s Care Center! If you would like to find out how you can be a part of it all, either prayerfully or financially, contact our Women’s Care Center Director, Sherry Stewart at (352) 787-8929. May 2022 be filled with many, many unexpected blessings!
