Celebrating a holiday can sometimes cause anxiety and frustration for some in recovery, but that was not the case for the Women’s Care Center this past 4th of July weekend. Not only were the ladies able to celebrate the freedom and birth of our country, but they were also celebrating their own independence from addiction to drugs and alcohol! The ladies are learning that you can have a whole lot of fun while being clean and sober.
