Everyone loves to receive mail and our ladies at the Women’s Care Center are no different. Since phone calls are limited while in program, they also enjoy writing to loved ones to let them know how they are doing, what they are studying, and how God is moving in their lives.
Recently, our ladies were blessed when our sweet friend, Louise Benner, brought her supplies and taught the ladies how to make some very sweet cards. The ladies loved it so much that Louise came back a second time with more cards and more creativity. The ladies were excited to send these cards to family and friends, and we can only imagine what a treasure it was for the cards to be received.
Often, the ladies come to the center hopeless and possibly homeless. They have become enslaved by their addictions and caught up in their sin. Sin that has taken them farther than they wanted to go, cost them more than they wanted to pay, and kept them longer than they wanted to say.
There are many miracles that happen at the Women’s Care Center. Women surrendering, women having a heart change, and women calling on Jesus to be their Lord and Savior. It’s an exciting time!
