Over two decades ago, while serving as a minister of the staff at a church in Georgia, I first encountered the Christian Care Center. At the time, our church was exploring the idea of launching a food pantry ministry, and we were seeking wisdom and guidance. That search led us to Leesburg, where we sent a team to learn from the Christian Care Center’s Benevolence ministry.

What we discovered was more than just a model for meeting physical needs—it was a ministry deeply rooted in sharing the love of Christ. The impact on our church was profound. Inspired and equipped by what we learned, we launched our own food pantry, which continues to serve thousands in our community to this day. That experience was just one example of how the Christian Care Center has extended its reach far beyond Lake County, touching lives and transforming communities.

Never did I imagine that years later, I would be called to serve as the Executive Director of the very ministry that once inspired me. But the Lord, in His perfect timing and purpose, brought me here—and I am deeply grateful.

The Christian Care Center is a special place. It’s a place where needs are met, hope is restored, and Christ is shared. Thanks to all our staff, volunteers, and supporters for being part of this mission and helping us continue the work of loving our neighbors and pointing them to Jesus.

Together, we are making a difference.
