It was an exciting morning at our Samaritan Inn, as we sent all of our kids back to school this morning! We would like to thank all who contributed to our backpack drive this year! We received 25 backpacks that were full of all the needed school supplies, and as you can tell by these faces, the kids were thrilled! We received a donation from Laurie Dusso with Pure International Pageants, as well as several donations from various members of the church and the community, and we can’t thank you enough for the way you continue to support our families with children.
As today is the first day of school, we took some pictures just to show you how excited they are!!
Thanks to your generosity, these children were able to confidently walk into their classrooms this morning with their heads held high, knowing they had everything needed to start the new year. Perhaps this was a first for some of these precious children. As we continue to meet needs and share Christ, it’s your support and love as a community that always shines through.
