In spite of COVID-19, the Village Park ladies have been busy with baby showers! Judi Taylor and Leslie Kaiser loaded up their cars to deliver gifts from the Village Park ladies to the Pregnancy & Family Care Center, surprising Alyssa Hudson. Overwhelmed with the thoughtfulness of each gift, and touched especially by the card from Trish, that included her soon to be born baby girl’s name, Arya Irene, Alyssa beamed from ear to ear! Alyssa came to our Pregnancy & Family Care Center last fall and was determined to have an abortion, but through the grace of God Alyssa chose life and found her Savior, Jesus Christ!
Due to homelessness, she was taken in for a period of time by Pregnancy & Family Care Center volunteer, Alicia Thompson, and her husband, Mark, but soon got a job and moved out on her own. Alyssa even saved enough money to buy a car and has been making it on her own ever since!
Welcome, Arya Irene! Arya was born on June 8 at 12:06 a.m.! She weighed in at 7 pounds, 8 ounces and was 20 ½ inches long. We praise the Lord for this gift of life!!
