Restoration of families is one of the many blessings that we see at the Women’s Care Center. Many times, the ladies begin reconciling with family members during the course of their program while on visitation days. However, for some the process is little more challenging. Some of the ladies have been separated from their children, and there are legal obligations to be fulfilled, while others have simply not been able to parent in a positive way.
For some, an additional bridge is needed once they graduate from the Women’s Care Center. Being in recovery and starting over can be difficult at best but when given the opportunity to parent again, many of the ladies take the opportunity to transition to the Samaritan Inn, where they can continue to have accountability and assistance in preparing for the future.
The ministries that make up the Christian Care Center work together to meet the client’s needs and share Christ! It truly “takes a village”!
