“And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near” (Hebrews 10:24-25).
At the end of October, the Men’s Residence went on their 2nd Annual Men’s Retreat at Lake Yale. Our community was so generous to sponsor all of our residents, so they were able to partake in this weekend retreat of fellowship, the Word, and fun. Lake Yale added some great activities this year including a high ropes course and paintball.
Lake Yale reached out to us and offered to give us free paintball if we were able to partner with them and do some work for them. So, we gathered 15 of our guys and went there to clear a new walking path. They supplied all the tools; we supplied the manpower and had a half mile cleared in just a few hours. Good things happen when God’s people come together for the glory of God!
