We are excited to announce the upcoming opening of Together at Home, a new children's home at the Christian Care Center, in partnership with LSF. This home is designed to provide safety, support, and a true sense of belonging to children who need it most. Together at Home represents more than just a residence — it’s a promise of love, stability, and hope for the future.

What Is Together at Home?

Together at Home is a nurturing, family-style children’s home created for siblings who are unable to live with their biological families due to various circumstances. With a mission to ensure every child feels safe, seen, and supported, this home offers a warm environment where children can thrive emotionally, socially, and academically.

At its heart, Together at Home believes in building strong relationships, fostering emotional healing, and helping children regain a sense of normalcy through consistent care, structure, and unconditional support.

Why "Together at Home"?

The name Together at Home reflects the vision of the organization: that healing happens in the presence of connection, and every child deserves to be part of a family — no matter how that family is formed. "Together" speaks to the strength of community and unity, while "Home" symbolizes the stability and love each child deserves.

What Makes Together at Home Special?

• A Home-Like Environment: Not an institution — a real home. Warm bedrooms, shared meals, laughter in the living room, and bedtime stories.

• Trained, Compassionate Staff: Caregivers and support workers who are trained in trauma-informed care, attachment-based approaches, and child development.

• Therapeutic Support: Access to on-site or therapists and counselors to support mental health and healing.

• Community Integration: Partnerships with local schools, churches, businesses, and volunteers to help children feel connected to their wider community.

• Personalized Care Plans: Each child receives care tailored to their specific emotional, educational, and physical needs.

 How Can You Get Involved?

The success of Together at Home depends on the support and kindness of the community. Here’s how you can help:

• Volunteer: Whether it’s helping with homework, hosting arts and crafts, or just lending a listening ear, your time can make a difference.

• Donate: Financial gifts, household items, clothing, and educational supplies all help create a homey, supportive environment.

• Pray: Pray for the children that will be moving in, for a smooth transition and for the staff that will be caring for them.

We are so close to being able to bring in children. We have sibling groups already waiting to move into their new home. We can’t wait to see what God is going to do through this amazing ministry right here at the Christian Care Center.
