Last October we had the blessing of having our first annual Men’s Residence Retreat. It was an amazing weekend where lives were forever changed. The theme was “New Creation”. We met every night around the fire for a worship service. On the last night, the fire was surrounded by men surrendering their former lives and accepting their new life in Christ.
The weekend was also full of fellowship and fun where the guys (for the first time in many years) learned that one can have an abundant life without drugs and alcohol. The weekend included both men in the program and former graduates of the program who were there to share encouragement.
The entire retreat was sponsored for our residents in the program and those who donated received a blessing knowing they had a part of these men gaining new life. These men are not the only ones who get something out of this program or retreats, those who give do as well. These men are becoming Godly sons, husbands, and fathers.
So, we are looking for your help again. We have a new group of men, and we are planning another retreat. This is a chance for this group of men to encounter God in a real intimate way. The cost per resident is $200 which includes 2 nights, 5 meals, and all the activities. But the eternal results are priceless.
