A man from out of state called the Pregnancy & Family Care Center seeking an abortion clinic for his ex-wife, Felicia. I gladly intercepted this man’s intent to kill his baby by calling Felicia with a lifeline for help. I contacted the Pregnancy Center in Orlando, and they agreed to give Felicia an ultrasound and to also share God’s plan for her baby…life!
But after her appointment, she called me and told me she had the ultrasound, but now she was ready to get an abortion. So, I shared with her that it’s never okay with God to take an innocent life, and I reminded her of the love God has for her and her baby. I told her that the very thing she wanted to destroy could be the very thing that God would use in her life as a blessing to lead her down a new path! We spoke by phone for several minutes, and then I texted her the passage, Psalm 91:1-4 which says, “He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, "He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust." Surely He will save you from the fowler’s snare and from the deadly pestilence. He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge; His faithfulness will be your shield and rampart.”
Felicia later texted me, “Do not worry, I will have the baby no matter the situation that I am in, I can have it alone. Thanks for worry.” I was later told that Felicia received Jesus during her ultrasound visit. What Satan intended for evil, God used for good – the saving of Felicia’s spiritual life and her baby’s physical life. The angels are rejoicing!
