| Pastor Ken Scrubbs, Director |
Ken worked in corporate America for 20 years before becoming
an ordained minister 17 years ago. The former community outreach pastor for First Baptist Church, he is now director of the
Christian Care Center’s Community Outreach Ministries. Ken and his wife of 36 years, are committed to turning the
dreams of children into reality. Linda is the director of the mentoring program at Outreach Ministries at the Genesis Center
(the former Main Street Baptist complex). Ken played football under legendary Grambling State University Coach Eddie Robinson,
and earned degrees in accounting and data processing. He has been coordinator of Lake County School System Campus Ministry,
has been recognized for his work with the Governor’s Mentoring Initiative, and has served as assistant director of the
Abstinence Education Program, Mentoring Children of Incarcerated Parents, and The Juvenile Prison Ministry. Ken and Linda
have three children.

| Linda Scrubbs, Director of Micah Grant |
Linda has served in several capacities at the Ministry Village.
She originally served as the director of a state abstinence project for three years. Now she is the Director of
the MICAH (Mentoring is Changing a Heart) where she matches mentors and students together. She also serves
in the after-school tutoring program at several schools in Lake County. She is the wife of Pastor Ken Scrubbs and
they are partners in the ministry. Her passion is to help the youth of our community become all that they can be
