The Ministry Village
In 1995 members of First Baptist Leesburg made a very unique and strategic decision. Instead
of building a new sanctuary for themselves, they would give the money to build a complete campus in their city to meet the
needs of the hurting in their community.
The result has become the nationally recognized "Ministry Village" which now consists
of a home for displaced women and children, a drug and alcohol treatment center for men, an emergency shelter for
abused and neglected children, a care center for pregnant girls and women, a long-term home for abandoned children, a food
and financial assistance center, a thrift store and a medical clinic.
