A few months ago, a client came to our Pregnancy & Family Care Center with a crisis pregnancy. She and her husband were struggling in their marriage and she was concerned that a high-risk pregnancy would jeopardize her job.
One of our volunteers, Alicia, has been ministering to them and here is a quick update: this baby girl was born at 25-weeks on Monday, July 31 weighing 2 lbs. She delivered at Leesburg Regional but has since been taken to Winnie Palmer in Orlando. She is doing as well as can be expected for being a preemie. They are saying that she will hopefully be able to go home in November.
In the meantime, this couple has had to come back to Leesburg to continue working and also take care of their other children. Last week we were praying desperately for the Lord to provide them with reliable transportation as they care for their little one. The same day that we started asking, a Christian graciously donated a van to this family, and we are so thankful!
Please keep this family in prayer! We know that God knows the beginning to the end and He always has a plan!
We can’t minister to everyone but we can minister to some and God continues to use the staff and volunteers at the Pregnancy & Family Care Center to impact our community! Please continue to pray for us as we speak out for life!!
