Socks for the Pregnancy & Family Care Center, socks for the Women’s Care Center, socks for the Men’s Residence, socks for the Samaritan Inn families and plenty of socks for the Children’s Shelter, all due to the efforts of the National Junior Honor Society at Spring Creek Charter School in Paisley. After receiving a call from Haley Johnson in October about the Honor Society’s idea of doing a sock drive, the members got busy decorating collection boxes and placing them around the school campus. Their efforts yielded a total of 326 pairs of socks with majority of them being children’s sizes! None of the residents at the Christian Care Center will go sockless, as there are enough to go around! A huge thanks to Haley and the National Junior Honor Society from across the county for their efforts in providing for those in need.
