We have recently received this note and wanted to share it with you. “Ben” has been struggling for months to find a job. Three weeks after his marriage, his job opportunity came. Ben suddenly got the message, “Start work tomorrow at 9 a.m. – you need to wear work shoes and black or khaki pants.” The dilemma – a job but no means to get the clothing he needed to go to work in, and it’s 6:30 p.m. the night before he’s supposed to start! Ben’s need was made known to the Men’s Residence and in no time, one of the residents, Robert, found some pants and a pair of like new work shoes, in his exact size! Ben’s note to Robert is a heartfelt thanks for the kindness and benevolence shown to him. More pants were found the next day through the Benevolence Center, so now Ben is “good to go.” Pray for Ben’s marriage and his new job, for him to be able to finally provide for his wife and family. Thank you Men’s Residence and the Benevolence Center for coming to Ben’s aid!
